Not that I’m overly heart broken, but the proposed fight in Brooklyn pitting Paulie Malignaggi and former champion Shane Mosley that was to take place sometime in April has been cancelled. Here’s what Paulie had to say.

Floyd Mayweather vs Victor Ortiz Set for Sept 17th

Well, another year without a Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight, but we have some what of an interesting filler. Recently crowned WBC Welterweight champion Victor Ortiz gets his shot at dethroning the undefeated Mayweather in whcih could make him at the top with Manny Pacquiao inevitably heading towards a showdown with him. With Pacquiao already set to fight Juan Manuel Marquez for a 3rd time in November, this could finally lead into a 2012 showdown between Mayweather and Pacquiao (though I suggest not to hold your breath)
