Floyd Mayweather Talks Victor Ortiz ; Open to Fighting Pacquiao
June 29, 2011Well it seems as if Floyd NOW is open to fighting Pacquiao. During the recent press conference in NYC promoting his upcoming fight with young champion Victor Ortiz, it was inevitable that Floyd would be hounded with Pacquiao questions. His interview with Brian Kenny doesn’t seize those questions.

Floyd Mayweather vs Victor Ortiz Set for Sept 17th

Well, another year without a Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight, but we have some what of an interesting filler. Recently crowned WBC Welterweight champion Victor Ortiz gets his shot at dethroning the undefeated Mayweather in whcih could make him at the top with Manny Pacquiao inevitably heading towards a showdown with him. With Pacquiao already set to fight Juan Manuel Marquez for a 3rd time in November, this could finally lead into a 2012 showdown between Mayweather and Pacquiao (though I suggest not to hold your breath)
