HHH Becomes New WWE Chairman

July 19, 2011

In what is considered the passing of the baton, and what many believed to be the inevitable, HHH showed up on Raw last night and showed Vince McMahon (CEO of WWE and real life Father in Law) the door prior to the “firing” of John Cena. Now, many of us old school wrestling heads still have that thought in our minds that this is all a work (storyline). But, seeing as Vince is getting old and HHH has already been at the helm of the everyday behind the scenes of the WWE, this could very well be the farewell to Vince McMahon.

One thing I will say, with the whole CM Punk story, to Money in the Bank’s epic main event, and lastnight’s finale, one copuld only imagine that the WWE are gearing up for a whole new ride. For the first time in YEARS, I’m actually interested again!!!

RIP Randy Savage

May 20, 2011

Damn…I’m at a loss for words

From TMZ:

TMZ spoke with Randy’s brother, Lanny Poffo, who tells us the wrestling legend suffered a heart attack while he was behind the wheel around 9:25 AM … and lost control of his vehicle.

Earlier this month, Savage celebrated his 1-year anniversary with his new wife Lynn.

Savage was 58.

Macho Man began wrestling in the WWF in 1985 and became a superstar with his trademark catchphrase “Ooooooh Yeaahhhhh.”

UPDATE: Florida Highway Patrol tells TMZ … Savage was driving his 2009 Jeep Wrangler when he veered across a concrete median … through oncoming traffic … and “collided head-on with a tree.”

Savage was transported to Largo Medical center, where he died from his injuries.

Savage’s wife was a passenger in the vehicle during the collision — but survived with “minor injuries.” She was transported to a different local hospital where she was treated.

Edge Retires from Wrestling

April 12, 2011

At first I thought this was a “work”, but looks as if Edge is really hanging them up. Salute to him. He was one hell of a worker.

Update: A lot of people are telling me this is a work (aka storyline). We shall see.

Sting Headed to the WWE?!?

February 1, 2011

I can say I haven’t watched much of Wrestling since maybe 2005 (though I still watch the beginning of the 9pm-10pm-11pm hours lol), but this news seem big enough for me to post. Apparently, the once franchise of WCW, Sting, after years of anticipation has signed a one year deal with the WWE. According to the news, the plan is for The Undertaker and Sting to wrestle at Wrestlemania this year. How ill would that be!?!?!

The following print out was put up by the NY Daily News:

Stay tuned for more…
