They did it!!! Needless to say Miami right now is going HAM even the next morning. Lebron James had the Finals performance of a lifetime and cemented his legacy with finally getting an NBA title. He didn’t do it alone though. Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Mario Chalmers, Shane Battier, and Mike Miller played an important role in beating OKC in 5 games. Congrats to the City of Miami for title #2!!!
Not that I’m a big Giants fan, but my wife along with many of my close friends are, so you end up getting dragged along lol, but I also hate the Patriots. Great game nonetheless.
This is similar to what my household was like lol.
Well, another year without a Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight, but we have some what of an interesting filler. Recently crowned WBC Welterweight champion Victor Ortiz gets his shot at dethroning the undefeated Mayweather in whcih could make him at the top with Manny Pacquiao inevitably heading towards a showdown with him. With Pacquiao already set to fight Juan Manuel Marquez for a 3rd time in November, this could finally lead into a 2012 showdown between Mayweather and Pacquiao (though I suggest not to hold your breath)
I can’t say it was the most exciting fight, nor Pacquiao’s best performance, but he clearly dominated the older Shane Mosley who got dropped in the 3rd round from a left hook. The question obviously still lingers though, when are Mayweather and Pacquiao finally going to fight??? From reports surfacing about a Juan Manuel Marquez vs Manny Pacquiao trilogy already being talked for the Fall, it looks as if we’re going to have to wait another year. I think a lot of us are already giving up hope.
Man I can’t wait for this fight. If you saw the 1st one several months ago, I think it’s safe to say BHop was robbed. The 2nd fight almost promises fireworks.
Mayorga came better prepared than I expected, but Cotto’s skills overall outmatched Mayorga to a 12th round stoppage. Up next, a much anticipated rematch with Antonio Margarito in July!
