Leatherface returns! This time they’re taking the route of forgetting about the previous sequels and playing it off as if this is the direct sequel to Tobe Hooper’s 1974 classic. Trey Songz makes his acting debut as well (which shouldn’t last too long lol).

Reading the title and knowing who Jerry Lawler is you’d think this is what they call in Wrestling “A Work” (storyline), unfortunately that wasn’t the case as legendary wrestler and Monday Night Raw co announcer suffered a legit heart attack during a commercial break lastnight as was rushed to the local hospital in Montreal. Reports state he flatlined and was given CPR and inevitably stabilized breathing on his own.

In what is quite possibly his best performance to date, undefeated Super Middleweight Champion Andre Ward stopped Light Heavyweight Champion Chad Dawson in the 10th round of their fight this past Saturday. Dawson called out Ward after defeating Bernard Hopkins for the Light Heavyweight title, but Ward demanded the fight be at the Super Middleweight limit (168lbs) which Dawson (then) seemed to have no issues after trying for a 170lb catchweight. Ward’s speed, patience, and surprisingly aggressive style worked almost flawlessly against Dawson who never really put anything together to give ward problems throughout the fight. After Dawson was dropped for the third time in round 10, he told referee Steve Smoger that “He was done”. Andre Ward right now sits at the throne at 168lbs while Dawson is still the Light Heavyweight Champion, but mentally may need to sit and evaluate where his career goes on from here.
Not exactly a complete 24/7 series, but both Andre Ward and Chad Dawson get some exposure leading into their Sept 8th Super Middleweight Title fight on HBO. Here’s a look at both fighters
