This year is living up to the title “Year of the Upset”. Once again we’re given another shocker as WBC 140lb champ Danny Garcia scored a TKO victory over WBA champ Amir Khan, who was rumored to be possibly in line next to face Floyd Mayweather who’s still serving a jail sentence in Las Vegas. Khan won both the 1st and 2nd round but the fight took a complete turn in the end of the 3rd with Garcia landing a counter left that dropped Khan inevitably having the fight stopped in the 4th round after 2 more knockdowns. Danny Garcia is officially on the map while Amir Khan has some serious evaluating to do with where he goes on from here.
