It’s Halloween once again, and since we’re already a decade removed from entering the new millennium, I figured we’d go out with the old and in with the new. The following are my top 15 horror movies (in no particular order) of the 2000s. Enjoy!
Wow!! Props to Rick!! Losing 130 lbs cannot be easy (it killed me dropping 15lbs lol)
During a recent interview with GQ, Rubin admitted to dropping 130 pounds through strict workouts and dieting. For the interview, Rubin appears shirtless and is interviewed alongside Kid Rock, the latest musician to be working with the producer. “That fucker lost 130 pounds,” Rock noted. “He was in the studio cutting apples and drinking his shakes.”
Got a chance to see him rip the roof off with this track during the Bootcamp Tour. It’ll be featured on his upcoming album War due out soon on Duckdown Records.
The legendary duo of Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito Garcia reunite for one night only on WKCR 89.9FM in NYC celebrating the 20th Anniversary of their show which began in 1990 and ended in 1998. The show till this day is still regarded by many as the Greatest Hip Hop Radio Show of All Time ushering in talent from the 90s such as Wu Tang, Jay Z, Big L, Nas, Big Pun, DMX, and a slew of others before they were signed. With the sudden news that the station will no longer offer shows to people who aren’t students of Columbia University (which is where WKCR stems from) the current show (Squeeze Radio hosted by Sucio Smash) is ending. There’s a current petition right now to help save the show from canceling. You can sign the petition here.
If you’re in the NYC area, tune into tonight from 1-5am on 89.9FM, and if not go to WKRC’s Website to listen live.
XXL Magazine’s website posted the 20 Best Freestyles from the Stretch and Bobb shows. Make sure to check that out! Check below for a brief history on the legendary show.
On a personal note: I have the privilege of saying I’ve been on WKCR (Squeeze Radio era) along with the homie BK Cyph and just being in a room where legendary artists began their road to success is something i”ll truly never forget. I salute any and everyone who’s contributed to both Squeeze Radio and Stretch and Bobb show.
For those who don’t know who Young Guru is, he’s widely known for being Jay Z’s right hand man / Engineer among other artists. I believe anyone in Hip Hop, whether you’re an artist, producer, or anything having to deal with signing with a record label should hear this.
and BTW, yea that’s the dude from Channel Live hosting lol
