The Roberto Flack Chronicles

So…like many of you who came up in the 90s, we had pride in our casette collection. While DJs obviously were collecting Vinyl, the rest of us would keep a blank newly wrapped Maxell or TDK just in case our boy had that exclusive you needed to just to get a quick dub off of. Who would’ve thought years later those tapes would be Hip Hop gems in the world of today where music is so much more accessible leaving the days of true exclusive songs behind us.

Though I myself am a Producer / DJ, I was a fan first (and still am). So I’ve decided to start diggin in my stash of tapes and digitally converting them for your listening pleasure once a week (twice if you’re lucky)…

I had to start off with a bang (pause) with arguably one of the best mixtapes out of 1995, DJ SNS – Get Ya Swirv On.
