So news surfaced a couple of weeks ago about Bob Arum (head of Top Rank Promotions) setting up a double header featuring both Miguel Cotto & Antonio Margarito in separate cities (one in LA, one in PR) leading to a possible rematch that would take place in June.
Arum now has stated Margarito will be fighting in late January and Cotto has a date on Feb 14th in either Atlantic City or Puerto Rico. The interesting thing though is there’s a possibility that Cotto can be facing either current WBC WW Champ Andre Berto who is facing Steve Forbes this weekend on the undercard of Mosley vs Mayorga on HBO (Thank God!) or Joshua Clottey who came off a controversial win against Zab Judah last August. Both fights would be great to watch, but the tougher fight without a doubt would be Clottey who’s actually been in the ring with Antonio Margarito before. I think Berto is still a little too green (though he hold one of the main ABC belts) to fight Cotto just yet and we can’t look passed Steve Forbes for one sec, he is not a bum.
The next couple of months should be really interesting as the date gets closer.

I’m not real big on prequels simply because it’s leading you to familiar territory. The Star Wars Prequels (except Episode I) set you up for the inevitable, but the ride there is what made Episodes II and III really dope in my eyes. Though I thought I Am Legend was a great movie, I don’t know if I’m that eager (yet) for a prequel.
Confirming what Francis Lawrence told us here at Comic-Con International two months ago, Variety reports Warner Bros. is moving on a prequel to the 2007 Will Smith blockbuster I Am Legend, which grossed $584 million internationally.
As Lawrence already told us, he’ll be returning to direct, and Variety says that Will Smith will return as Dr. Robert Neville, as well as co-produce with his Overbrook Entertainment partner James Lassiter and the original movie’s producer Akiva Goldsman.
