The 90’s to me were not only the Golden Years for Hip Hop, but was also sort of the same for the Mixtape game. NY was runnin shit with tapes from Clue, Doo Wop, S&S, Ron G, Craig G (not the rapper), Camilo…and the list goes on. I ran into a pretty dope spot on line called Know Good Music where I found some mixtapes I thought I’d never see again (being some friends mysteriously lost them after borrowing them for an entire Summer).
Here are a few gems I know you 90’s heads will definitely appreicate.
Doowop Summer Jam ‘96: Side A Side B
DJ Clue – Show Me the Money ‘97: Side A Side B
DJ S&S – Niggaz Still Aint Nice ‘95: Side A Side B
DJ Premier – Crooklyn Cuts III: Tape A
Doowop Spring 1 Mixtape ‘94: Side A Side B
