Damn, Hollywood’s really trying to bring back these iconic horror figures back from being dormant. Sony is in the process of putting together yet another remake, this time being the 1992 film Candyman that made people not want to stand next to a mirror (shit, I know I didn’t).
Nothing else has been mentioned about a storyline, but for those of you who’ve been living under a rock, The original starred Virginia Madsen, Xander Berkeley and Kasi Lemmons. In the films, according to legend, anyone who looks into a mirror and chants his name five times will summon him, but at the cost of his or her own life.
I’m really not mad at these remakes contrary to what most people would say. I mean, this is our generations Dracula, Wolf Man, Frankenstein. Jason’s got next though.
