This sorta caught me off guard. The word around the NBA free agency circle was that Posey was interested in playing for the Lakers. But if they didn’t pull the trigger, then who’s the next best team? Looks like the Hornets are. They offered Posey a four-year, $25 million deal (which means he’ll be staying put there for a min.)Talk about getting stacked for ’08-’09, the Hornets surprised the skeptics and got past Dallas and had a hell of a series against The Spurs (who I think they should’ve beaten).
Is it safe to say that Posey is the new millennium Robert Horry??
